Abstract

Patient with muscular dystrophy along with scoliosis makes their anesthetic management challenging. It brings about challenges in both neuraxial as well as general anesthesia. It can be safely managed with adequate pre-operative assessment and careful choice of anesthetic agents. Our case was managed with general anesthesia using short acting opioid, total intravenous anesthesia with propofol and avoiding muscle relaxant during induction
